(Before Common Era - Trước Công Nguyên). Một từ khác liên quan là “p.Ch.n.” (post Christum natum) và cũng đồng nghĩa với “A.D.” (Anno Domini – nghĩa là, “Thời Đại Chúa Kitô”).
